Regional Angel Command Center (radar)
Description
This is a fairly big low sec Angel base with some unusual characteristics. There are three groups of two hackable containers (info shards and command centers) far from each other (100 km range) making travel bothersome for a slow ship. Each pair of containers is guarded by a small group of ships and the groups can be engaged one at a time making this a very easy site to clear.
Each can group is located at an specific structure. The closest to the warp point is an Angel Battlestation, a massive fortified space station. My drones and guns couldn’t break this structure, so I don’t know if it would have dropped something.
Second group is protected by a Large EM Forcefield, which prevents access to the cans. The forcefield can be destroyed, but take note that it may be resistant to specific damage types as my Hammerheads couldn’t make a scratch on it. Only when I brought my guns to bear with EMP ammo did it quickly collapse.
The third group is located at a massive coralline asteroid, making navigation to the cans annoying.
As usual a codebreaker is required to access the cans.
Defenses
Three groups guarding a can pair each and an additional group spawning on hacking the last can (the coralline asteroid one, in my case). Very easy for a BC, should be easy for smaller ships too.
Group A: Two cruisers and two frigates at the battlestation.
Group B: Three frigates at the forcefield.
Group C: Two cruisers and two frigates at the coralline asteroid.
Group D: Two frigates spawning on hacking the last can (coralline asteroid).
Drops
- Decryptors
- Datacores
- Manufacturing components (Mechanical parts, current amplifiers etc.)
A very nice site to find. I got two Operation Handbooks and oneĀ Calibration Data (decryptors) plus a Cryptic Data Interface blueprint and a Minmatar Encryption Methods skillbook in addition to some manufacturing components and the normal loot and salvage.
Total value of the loot was about 30-35 million. I already know Minmatar encryption so if I will manufacture the data interfaces I will get about 30 3-4 million more. Edit: I thought the BPC was a 10 run copy, but it is only for one run so the extra ain’t that much.
