Haunted Yard (unknown)

Description

This is a high sec drone site that can escalate into the Pulverize The Pioneers chain.

I tried to run it with a Catalyst (destroyer) and while I could take down the Strain Infester Alvi that was the trigger for the escalation, I had to bail out before finishing off the last drones.

It was a really close thing so with a better fit/skill set/tactics you can probably clear the site in a destroyer. A cruiser shouldn’t have any problems if it can hit the drones.

The “red leaking casks” you will find on the site do not contain anything. They are simply props.

Restrictions

This is a 3/10 unrated site. Only ship hull sizes up to cruisers can enter.

Defenses

The first group is maybe 10 small rats with one of them the Strain Infester that triggered the escalation for me. The Strain Infesters can web and scram you!

Reinforcements can bring in another 10-15 small drones, some of which may be sentient (T2 salvage).

Drops

  • Drone alloys (reprocess)
  • Drone components (Sentient drones may drop these)
  • T2 salvage (Sentient drone wrecks)

I didn’t get anything from the site as I had to GTFO and forgot to bookmark the location. Killing the trigger of course caused the site to despawn.

The loot is pretty awful as drone drops usually are. Even with the escalation possibility (best of which is a handful of sentient drone drops and salvage) you are usually better off doing something else iskwise.
