My condolences, take as long as you need, games should always take a backseat to the important stuff. I'll still keep popping on to see when you are back.

You are not alone. One of the things I enjoy so much about EvE is the ability to do so many different things. I can cycle through various game-related activities on different alts/accounts, switching as I get bored. It has worked well for me and I see no chance of it failing to keep me involved in New Eden. Heck, even when I've minimized my play time during the lull sequence, I still follow the forums, read blogs, and listen to the murmurings of the community.

The Exequror definitely looks a better choice for a supply cruiser. The tank may be a bit weaker if you fit a full set of expanders, but a few more shield rigs will balance things out. And you can always swap one expander for a shield power relay if you need a better tank. The only things I would really miss is a full flight of ecm-drones; they have saved my ship on occasions.

I think I chose the Vexor just because I had one lying around and I'm so comfortable with it. =)

Have you looked into the exquerer? The drones are weaker, but it fields an impressive cargo bay. Depending on your needs, it will do a lot better for resupply, and still has 4 meds to fit a tank into. It does lost the bonus to drone damage, but with 3 T2 expanders and leve l4 cruiser skill, its around 1750m3.

Yeah, that is one choice but since I'm operating in hostile null sec I'm a bit worried how long a can might live. Actually, can you scan a can out with probes? I guess not so this is a pretty good advice.

Of course a persistent searcher could maybe drop BMs to to get near enough for a long MWD burn, but that would take real effort. One would have to get that can in there first though... =)

My main problem with the stealth bomber was the need to dodge the smaller rats which made ratting really slow. My supply cruiser solves this by acting as the tank and fly swatter at the same time. Any supply capabilities are simply a bonus here.

But the use of a GSC is great advice. For some reason I would never have thought of it, thanks.
